Accessibility Consultant


Donna Franz

Donna is a Registered Occupational Therapist (OT) with over 25 years of therapeutic practice serving a multicultural group of persons with disabilities. 


Donna has worked in a variety of healthcare settings and in Disability Management, helping clients regain or improve their functional abilities, following illness or injury.  


Donna has worked with children to seniors in their homes, providing recommendations on equipment, assistive technology and home modifications.


Donna has extensive experience providing rehabilitation services to help employees in their workplaces, by assisting them with their recovery and return to work.


Donna believes in work/life balance and recommends the healing effects of nature, gardening, and meaningful leisure activities.

Throughout her career, she has witnessed numerous examples of significant barriers for persons and children with disabilities that have prevented them from safe and accessible use, and enjoyment, of the built environment. She has been instrumental in co-creating with clients, changes in their home, 



In recent years Donna has focused her attention on helping create more accessible and inclusive design features in the built and urban environment, so that all people feel welcomed, wherever they chose to go.

Donna will work with you and collaborate as part of your team, to create accessible solutions, that will promote your safety, productivity, and engagement, that will enhance your wellbeing.

Business Owners ~

  • Does your business allow full accessibility, e.g. automatic doors, ramps, grab bars, hearing loops, visual aides, handicapped parking and more?
